Moths in a closet or pantry are rarely a one-off. The adults you swat are the visible tenth of a cycle that is already running inside stored wool, cereals, pet food and forgotten dry goods. These traps intercept the breeding adults so the population stops renewing itself, which is the part sprays never fix.

Each trap uses a female pheromone lure to draw males onto a sticky board. Breaking the mating cycle is what collapses an infestation over a few weeks. Traps also work as a monitoring tool: a sudden jump in catch tells you a source is still active, and an empty trap for two weeks usually means the source is cleared.

The five-pack covers a closet, a pantry and a couple of drawers, and each board folds into a slim tent that slides between sweaters or sits on a shelf. The glue is odorless and non-toxic, with no insecticide, so it is safe around clothes, dishes and food packaging once the lure is in place.

Place traps at the height where you see moths, replace the lure every eight to twelve weeks, and throw the board away when it is covered. Traps do not kill larvae, so combine them with a clean-out: vacuum shelf corners, discard opened grains, and wash or freeze suspect woolens. Keep lures sealed until use.
