Stations make sense in the rooms where gel tubes get wiped away: under a sink that is cleaned weekly, behind a toilet, inside a cabinet that gets reorganized, along a baseboard a robot vacuum patrols. Each housing holds a 2.5 g bait block behind entry slots, so the bait stays put and out of sight.

The bait uses 0.05% fipronil, a non-repellent that roaches feed on without hesitation. They carry it back to the harborage and the colony declines through transfer over one to three weeks. Because the bait is enclosed, it keeps its moisture and stays attractive far longer than an exposed dot in a dry room.

Three stations cover a bathroom, a kitchen corner and a utility area, and the low profile slides under appliances and behind furniture. The plastic housing is child and pet resistant, which is the main reason to choose a station over a tube in a home with toddlers or a cat that investigates everything.

Place stations close to harborage, against a wall or under an appliance, and leave them undisturbed for at least a month. Do not spray insecticide around a station. Replace when the bait is consumed or after about three months, and keep the box out of reach of children.
